7 Textile Engineering College Admission Circular 2021-22
There were a total of 07 govt. textile engineering colleges under BUTEX. However, another college has been added this year. Then the total number of colleges affiliated to BUTEX is 08.
The colleges are Pabna Textile Engineering College, Chittagong Engineering Textile College, Noakhali Textile Engineering College, Barisal Textile Engineering College, Jhenaidah Textile Engineering College, Rangpur Textile Engineering College, Gopalganj Textile Engineering College, and Jamalpur Textile Engineering College.
In these colleges, eligible students will be able to get admission in the 04-year term B.Sc in Textile Engineering course in the 2021-2022 academic year. A circular in this regard has recently been published on the website dot.gov.bd.

Textile Engineering College Application Eligibility
In this section, we will know about the admission requirements in BUTEX affiliated government textile colleges.
The requirements for admission to Bangladesh textile engineering college are given below in accordance with the Bangladesh textile university admission circular 2021-22.
- The candidate must be a Bangladeshi citizen.
- Candidate must pass SSC/equivalent examination from science group in 2018 or 2019 from any education board.
- Candidate must pass HSC/equivalent examination from science group in 2020 or 2021 from any education board.
- Candidates must have at least a GPA of 4.00 in SSC/equivalent examination and HSC/equivalent examination separately.
- Total grade points in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and English must be at least 16.50 in the HSC examination.
BUTEX 7 College Exam Date & Time 2022
The textile engineering college admission test will be held on 20 August 2022. The test will start at 10 am. It will last for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Other Information Related to the Exam
The content of the admission test will be taken from the 2021 HSC syllabus. Where the test will be a total of 200 marks.
The test will be taken in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) method. Where the value of each MCQ question will be 02 and 0.50 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Important Information Regarding Textile Admission Test
1) Candidates must fill in the answer sheet or OMR Sheet with a black ink ball pen.
2) Admission test roll number and related fields must be filled in English.
3) If the pencil is used without using a ball pen, the answer sheet will be considered canceled.
4) Things that cannot be used during the admission test are calculators, electronic seams, watches of any kind, pens with devices, mobiles, or other such electronic devices.
5) The test will be canceled if any kind of misconduct is adopted during the test.
Online Application Procedure
According to the BUTEX 7 college admission circular 2021-22, you can apply only through the website dot.teletalk.com.bd. You cannot apply through any other means. Of course, you must apply between 05 July 2022 and 07 August 2022.
Note that while applying online, the applicants will need a color photograph and a scanned copy of his/her signature.
According to the textile engineering college admission circular 2021-22, the image resolution should be 300 X 300 pixels and the size can be a maximum of 100 KB and the signature resolution can be 300 X 80 pixels and the size can be a maximum of 60 KB.
Application Fee Payment Procedure
After completing the online application, you have to pay the application fee of BDT. 1,000/- with a Teletalk pre-paid SIM. The payment process is given below step by step.
- 1st SMS: DOT <space> User ID and send to 16222 number.
If you send the first SMS, a PIN number will be given in the return SMS. After getting the PIN number, you have to send another SMS like below.
- 2nd SMS: DOT <space> YES <space> PIN and send SMS to 16222 number.
If you send the second SMS correctly, the admission test fee will be deducted through this SMS and the application will be confirmed.
