Known as BP for short, Bangladesh Police is a law enforcement agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Bangladesh Police has always been committed to maintaining law & order and maintaining peace in the country. According to Wikipedia, currently, a total of 256,344 personnel are working in this organization.
On 01 December 2022, the agency has published a recruitment circular for the post of Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC).
Any candidate can apply whether the candidate is a male or a female. However, this circular is not for DB, CID, Jail, Traffic Police, or SI posts.

Application Eligibility for the Police Constable Post
The qualifications required to apply are described below.
Educational Qualification: SSC pass.
Marital Status: Unmarried.
Nationality: Bangladeshi.
Age Limit: On 28 December 2022, the age of the candidate must be 18 to 20 years.
Note that according to the information given in the Trainee Recruit Constable job circular, the quota system will be followed in the recruitment of all quota holders.
Physical Fitness: Below are the physical qualifications for both male and female candidates.

Application Deadline
The online application form can be filled from 10.00 am on 02 December 2022. The application process will continue for 04 weeks. Police Constable Job circular 2022 application last date is 11:59 pm on 28 December 2022.
Online Application Form Filling Up Process
The process of filling up the online application form has been described below step by step as per the BD Police Constable circular 2022.
- Press the “Apply Now” button.
- Click on the first option of the page displayed on the screen.
- Now click on the last option (Application Form).
- Select the “Trainee Recruit Constable” radio button and press the “Next” button.
- You will see the application form on the screen. Now apply following the next instructions.
Candidates will get a User ID if they successfully complete the application process. If any candidate cannot apply by following the instructions given above, then he/she can watch the video tutorial given below.
Application Fee Payment Process
The application fee has to be paid using the User ID obtained at the time of application. The application fee is only 30/- Taka. The fee can be paid only by sending 02 SMS.
Of course, you have to send the 02 SMS through Teletalk SIM. The payment procedure is given below.
SMS #1: Go to the message option, type TRC <space> User ID and send SMS to 16222.
SMS #2: Go to the message option again and type TRC <space> Yes <space> PIN and send SMS to 16222.
After sending the second SMS, you will be notified via a confirmation message that the payment has been completed successfully. A password will also be given in the confirmation message. You have to save the Password along with the User ID.
Police Constable Recruitment Exam
Eligible candidates will be selected in 07 steps. The steps are given below.
- Preliminary screening;
- physical size and endurance test;
- Written exam;
- Viva examination;
- Primary selection
- Police verification and health checks;
- And finally, provide recruitment.
