Bangladesh Open University is a public university. The university is known as BOU for short. In the academic year 2021-2022, admission to the HSC program of this university is going on.

The online admission process has started on 01 August 2022. The admission process will continue till 14 September 2022. Students interested in getting admission to the university can apply online within the specified time.

Below are the helpline numbers of OSAPS. Candidates can call the following helpline number for any information regarding admission. Also, if you have any problems while applying online, you can call the helpline number and contact OSAPS to get the necessary directions.

 

 

Minimum Requirements for Admission

Only candidates who have passed SSC/equivalent examination can apply.

Note that the institution from which you have passed the SSC/equivalent examination must be recognized by the government.

 

Application Fee

Admission fees for admission in the humanities, business studies (commerce), and science groups are given below.

 

 

Special Note: According to the Bangladesh open university HSC admission circular 2022-23, some additional charges will be deducted while paying the mentioned admission fee.

For example, if you pay the admission fee through bKash, SureCash, and DBBL, the additional charge will be deducted as 1.5%, 1%, and 15 Taka respectively.

 

Online Application and Admission Fee Submission Procedure

Below is a step-by-step description of how to apply online and how to pay the admission fee.

First Step: Interested students must first visit the website osapsnew.bou.ac.bd.

Second Step: Click on Open School (OS).

Third Step: From the page that appears on your screen, click on the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) – Apply Now option.

Fourth Step: You will see the desired online application form. Fill out the form. After completing the application form, you will be given a temporary User ID and Password via SMS. Save the user ID and password for later use.

Fifth Step: Now pay the admission fee with charge through bKash/SureCash/DBBL from Proceed to Payment option. The amount of admission fees for different groups has been given above.

Sixth Step: If you provide the Transaction ID and the mobile number of the candidate in the right place and submit it, you will get the message “Payment Successful” via SMS.

Note that as per the guidelines given in the Bangladesh open university (BOU) HSC admission 2022-23, if there is any problem in getting the message “Payment Successful”, the candidate is asked to contact the helpline number of OSAPS immediately. The helpline numbers of OSAPS are given above.

If you get the “Payment successful” message then you have to be admitted by completing the last step.

 

Last Step

• Using the temporary User ID and Password that you received while applying online, print the application form and payment slip from this website osapsnew.bou.ac.bd.

• Then attach the following documents with the application form and payment slip and submit them to the concerned study center.

The documents that need to be submitted with the application form are:

1. Educational Qualification Certificate (attested);
2. National Identity Card/Birth Registration Certificate;
3. 02 copies of passport-size photographs.

It is to be noted that the documents must be submitted before the Bangladesh Open University HSC admission 2022-2023 last date i.e. 14 September 2022.
